The Mildura-Wentworth Horticultural Task Force was formed to investigate the nature of the pressures on local producers and to develop strategies that would improve prospects for farm viability and sustainability over the medium to long term. The information contained in this report is expected to highlight the critical factors and issues influencing farm profitability in the region. The report, along with other work being overseen by the task force, will contribute to the identification of strategies that can be pursued to improve farm profitability in the future.
