In 2004-05, the National Landcare Program commissioned ABARE to undertake a survey of natural resource management on Australian broadacre & dairy farms. The results of the survey provide further insights from farmers about their perceptions of degradation & their adoption of sustainable farming practices. These insights are expected to assist the design & implemenation of government programs to increase the adoption of sustainable farming practices & prevent future degradation.
