Pirion began its journey when the company’s founder, the late Norman Gibson, established Pirie Printers in 1972. Over the past 32 years the company has grown from its modest beginning, as a family printing business located in Canberra, to become the progressive and diverse document and information management solutions provider it is today.

Pirion is the new name for Pirie Printers Holdings, Pirie Printers, BiNKe Software, Panther Publishing & Printing, Federal Facilities Management and Printnet Australia (formerly Ausdoc On Demand).

These successful Australian businesses have been acquired by Pirie Printers Holdings over recent years. Each enterprise offered its own brand of skills and resources in the field of information management and dissemination. Pirion combines these business entities into one multi-faceted information management organisation with a range of service offerings.

Business Units

Pirion comprises four business units that can partner with our clients individually or in any combination.

Pirion Systems designs and integrates the software solutions that enable Pirion to deliver its fully integrated information management and dissemination services. Pirion Digital is flexible, responsive and client focussed by providing a full range of operational and technological support options. Pirion Printing strives innovation, skill and the application of the very latest plate and press technology to be able to deliver outstanding quality at very competitive prices. Pirion Logistics offers purpose-built systems and precision warehousing & distribution procedures to ensure reliable, efficient and economical goods management.

In addition to these business units we will call upon the services of McMillan Print Management to assist in providing integrated communications management services, in particular, logistics management services.

Pirion headquarters are located in Canberra with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and partners in Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin and Perth. Our global partnership extends to London, Ontario, New York and Hong Kong. Pirion offers a National and International information management network capable of disseminating information in many forms to all major cities in the world.
